Shorepine Village Master Plan

An integrated coastal community

A coastal mixed-use development of single- and multi-family residential, retail, and recreational amenities designed to carefully integrate into the natural coastal dune and wetland environment that defines the site. Reminiscent of traditional northwest coastal development, the project utilizes simple forms, building techniques and use of naturally weathering materials. This project was later built and received a 1998 Portland Chapter AIA design award and cited as a “sensitive response to the fragile environment of the site”.
