Oregon State Parks and Recreation District Cabins and Restrooms

New cabin design supports Oregon’s outdoor recreation

SEA is working closely with the Oregon Parks & Recreation Department to help innovate the existing model of their state park cabins and restrooms. Improvements to accessibility, amenities, air quality, and privacy are key elements in creating the new prototypes that will serve campsites and parks throughout the state, supporting Oregon’s culture of outdoor recreation. Multiple locations, including Nehalem Bay, Beverly Beach, Sunset Bay, Milo McIver, Ogden Peter Skene, Silver Falls, and Champoeg state parks, are planned to be the first to implement the new designs.
